and New Jersey. This summer, it is following its Manhattan clientele
to the toney beaches of Long Island with a pop up store in
Southampton. “City retail is dead duringt the summer,”
explains owner Andrew Jacobs. “We wanted to be where are
customers were, and many of our customers are in the Hamptons.”
After Labor Day, says Jacobs, “it’s back to the city
to find another Upper East Side store for the holiday season!”
